Speaking of Christmas, our long lost friend YunJie will be here in bay area for couple days. That's really good news. We havn't talk for...about 4 years. I guess we get lots catch up to do with, I should say, Professor Xu.

Well, Thanksgiving holiday is over, so is my 30's birthday. I knew that I can't get all those planed things done even before the holiday, but things turn out to be worse than the already low expectation. What can I say, being home sick for 5 days is not really fun, especially you have a sick baby to take care at the same time. Thanks God Yi was not sick or at least she was still mobile. Anyway, I want a better Chrismas day....

Yi told me that Olivia's photo must be taken during HeFang's Brother's wedding. Looks like she is sitting between two red pillows. That must be the case. It's a chinese tradition, right? Anyway, Olivia is so cute, looks more like a doll than those 2 realy dolls next to her.

swa to mp3

got swa file that can't be played by microsoft media player.
It's interesting that no conversion is needed. Neither do I need to download micromedia player.
Just...RENAME the file to .mp3 file, voila.. It's MP3 file.
The compression algorithms used to convert to swa are the same as for mp3, the only difference is something in the file header.
"the conversion doesn't work both ways..... like I said there is a difference in the file headers. Strangely this difference allows MP3 players to recognise renamed SWA files, but not the other way around."

Ok, got back from the new house sale office. The house will start from "mid 90s" which is already out of reach. Besides, those are the first single family house that I've seen without back yard...

The floor plan looks ok. Dont' know the price though...Might be just to high for us.
